I hope everyone has enjoyed a great summer! I know many of you have been traveling and have been unable to attend Sunday school and church on a regular basis. If you have not met our new pastor, Robert Smith, I think you will really like him. We have begun our annual August “Camp Meeting Days” and it would be a great time to get back in church.
In the FOCUS class, we are currently studying the Gospel of Luke. We are discovering again what a wonderful Savior we have in Jesus. I’m not the best teacher in world, but even I have a hard time messing up this wonderful story of the life and ministry of Jesus and how it applies to our daily lives. As always, good food and good fellowship are a big part of what we do in the FOCUS class. I hope you’ll be able to join us this Sunday!

The message of Christianity comes in all shapes and sizes. Some people emphasize our brokenness. Others point to God's goodness... the need for repentance or forgiveness... having faith... walking in obedience. While all of these aspects are part of the Christian gospel, what was the essential message that ignited the movement that continues today?
